Elder and Sister Tolman at Red Butte Garden on Monday August 26 Sunday August 25 We attended the choir broadcast this morning.   The choir and orchestra were joined by the Bells at Temple Square.   The Bells at Temple Square in the front   We were reminded of the song “Slow Down” sung by Sissel during the Pioneer Concert.  To hear it again access the link . Our church meetings were very enjoyable with our Sacrament meeting subject being the 13th Article of Faith and Sister Craven’s talk from April 2019 General Conference – Careful vs Casual.   The Priesthood and Relief Society lesson was based on Elder Soares talk “How Can I Understand”. We had our 5th floor dinner social at 5pm with four young Elders.   The food was a potato bar, broccoli, salad with brownies and ice cream for dessert. Sunday August 18 We attended Music and the Spoken Word as normal.   When just the women were singing, they sounded and looked like angels. It was beautiful.    I did some more research on Amelia Eaton. I am documenting the research so I can post it on my Family History Blog.   On Saturday, I started documenting on Powerpoint how I found the family.   I plan to post this research on my Family History Blog.   Amelia married Edmund Towle and they had nine children with 5 living and 4 deceased at the time of the 1911 English census.   The 1881 to 1911 census list 7 of the children.   I was able to find and verify the other two using the www.gro.gov.uk website. Our Sacrament meeting went five minutes overtime as one of the three speakers went too long.   The talks were all good and I have learned not to stress too much if the meeting goes a few minutes past our 60 minutes scheduled for the meeting,    We walked home with the Dahlin’s and had a good visit with them and invited

By the second Sunday in September, the broadcast venue will go back to The Tabernacle. Sacrament meeting talks were on the 6th Article of Faith “We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely,   apostles,  prophets ,  pastors ,  teachers ,  evangelists , and so forth.   Each speaker took a different take on the subject.   The first speaker talked about the different callings as listed in the Article of Faith.   The second talked about blessings that we have as members of the church and the last speaker talked her own personal blessings that she received when she joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a single mother. The Priesthood/Relief Society lesson on Elder Uchtdorf’s talk “Missionary Work – Sharing What Is in Your Heart”. I finished reading “Anna – the Prophetess” by H.B. Moore.   The story of S
